Stellar Promotes Schnieders to VP, Fisk to Operations
Stellar Industries Inc. is announcing the promotion of Steve Schnieders to vice president, Supply Chain and Operations. Schnieders will be the first vice president position at Stellar since David Zrostlik assumed the presidency in 2000. Additionally, Jim Fisk has been appointed director of operations for both the Garner and Kanawha facilities. The director of operations position will report to Schnieders. Schnieders has been a Stellar employee for almost 20 years. He has held the position of engineering manager, in addition to operations manager. Fisk comes to this position with over 20 years of experience and success with lean manufacturing in various industries, including truck and trailer manufacturing and up-fitting. 

Waterloo Washrooms launches luxury restroom services in Tampa
Waterloo Washrooms, a mobile, luxury washroom provider, has opened its doors to the greater Tampa Bay area. Family owned and operated by Tampa native Jamie Conner, Waterloo offers customers a sophisticated, portable restroom option for all outdoor occasions, including weddings, festivals, film production, tailgates and more.

Amthor International expands production
Amthor International added 30 jobs to its 100-employee workforce at its 80,000-square-foot plant in Gretna, Virginia, to meet growing production needs. The company is also introducing Amthor University, a customized training program in partnership with Virginia Technical Institute to assist job seekers. Graduates will be guaranteed employment at Amthor. The company is hiring welders, mechanics, electricians and tank cleaners.

Hino Trucks expands INSIGHT platform
Hino Trucks has expanded its INSIGHT platform to fit across all 2017 models. The platform includes three services — INSIGHT Telematics, INSIGHT Remote Diagnostics and INSIGHT Case Management — to create a connected vehicle that delivers real-time data for owners.

GPS Insight recognized for rapid growth
GPS Insight is ranked No. 431 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. The company was also ranked the 40th largest and 21st fastest-growing company in Arizona at the Phoenix Business Journal’s Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards.
