Have you seen increasing interest in homeowners supplying restrooms for remodeling contractors, even when they are not required to do so by local municipal rules? This thread on the www.edhat.com. website out of California piqued my interest in the topic:

One poster offered a compelling argument for hiring a PRO when a contractor will be onsite for a few days or more:

“Allowing workers who are working on the exterior of the house to use your inside bathroom is fine if, 1) you don't mind cleaning it on a daily basis 2) you don't mind the wear and tear on your floors and fixtures from the dirty boots, mud and grime 3) you don't mind supplying the soap, towels or paper towels for washing up 4) the extra water usage on your bill if there are many workers 5) workers walking inside with their toolbelts bumping into your wordwork and walls.’’

Maybe this is a message you could promote in local advertising, at home improvement expos or through local real estate contacts. I have a hunch there are many situations where a homeowner would rent a restroom for a few days or weeks if the idea occurred to them. They’ve just never thought about how temporary bathroom facilities could make their lives easier.
