Some PROs are pleasantly surprised with traffic at their Web site.

In recent months, I’ve heard from a number of restroom contractors who report their company Web site is turning into a sharper sales tool than they imagined it would. In fact, I would say these contractors have been pleasantly surprised at the online action … They never really expected a Web site would be a prime revenue generator.

Was the Web traffic driven by new prospects searching for a restroom for the first time? Were established customers using the site as a communication tool to place orders? Yes and yes, these newbies to Web marketing answered. That the relatively minor investment in a Web site is paying off tickles some contractors who are looking for a good reason to veer away from expensive phone book advertising contracts.
