These days a lot of companies are adopting environmentally friendly practices and using these green initiatives as a selling point to drive more business. As a portable sanitation provider, maybe you’ve switched to “greener’’ deodorants in your holding tanks or eliminated the use of paper documents or enhanced recycling efforts.

One PRO recently told me his use of environmentally friendly deodorants has carried weight with a few of the government agencies he works for and he believes the change set his company apart in a few cases, helping land new jobs. Though it was an anecdotal observation – and it’s admittedly difficult to precisely gauge the marketing value of green initiatives – this PRO buys into the notion and is looking for more ways to boost his clean environmental image.
