La Fiesta de los Vaqueros rodeo is one of the biggest attractions of the year in Tucson, Arizona. It’s also a big event for John Fehser and his team at Tucson-based Ace Pumping & Portables.

Ace provides restrooms for the rodeo grounds — some 85 units in all. They include 70 red, white and blue units purchased from Five Peaks. Those patriotic colors are popular at many other events as well.

“The rodeo people really like the red, white and blue ones,” Fehser says. “We have the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base here, too. The Thunder & Lightning Over Arizona Air Show is held every three years, and the restrooms are a big hit there. Then when the service people have weddings on the base, the red, white and blue units are in demand.”

The patriotic restrooms are Five Peaks Aspen standard units; equipped with red sides, white roofs and blue doors. Their sleek design serves well for special events and are durable enough for construction sites as well. A three-part door system consists of a fiberglass door rod, three high-density plastic bushings and two stainless steel springs.

An elliptical design adds strength and interior room. A slip-resistant skid with an integrated side draining system allows water to drain to the sides, eliminating puddles in the front of the unit. The tank is designed to maximize cabana space, with an elongated seat to enhance user comfort.

A large-capacity drop tank has sloping lines that keep the top of the tank dry and clean. Large integrated vents eliminate unnecessary screen maintenance. A lockable one-piece, three-roll paper dispenser keeps the paper dry and accepts all roll styles. Units include a hover handle, coat/purse hook, oversized mirror and two corner shelves, one with a beverage holder. Oversized door and side-panel decal areas are provided for custom logos.
