BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA — The Portable Sanitation Association International board of directors announced the postponement of its Annual Convention and Trade Show to have been held March 25-28 in Baltimore. The announcement comes on the heels of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s executive order to ban all public gatherings larger than 250 individuals in response to the coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic.

In light of these events, Karleen Kos, PSAI executive director, says that the trade show, learning sessions and annual awards luncheon will occur at the annual Nuts & Bolts Educational Conference, to be held Nov. 18-22 in Reno, Nevada.

“The PSAI is committed to being fair and doing right by all of our exhibitors and attendees,” Kos says. “Because of these extraordinary circumstances, we — like many of you in your businesses — are in a situation where funds have been received and applied to expenses, but the services have not been delivered. Consequently, it is not possible for us to provide cash refunds to our exhibitors and attendees.”

Trade show exhibitors registered for the Annual Convention will receive comparable registration and booth space for the trade show at Nuts & Bolts. Nonexhibitor attendees will be able to apply prepaid fees to either the Nuts & Bolts conference or the 2021 Annual Convention and Trade Show scheduled for Feb. 2-5 in Memphis, Tennessee.
