If your portable sanitation business is called to a winter job site without permanent water or sewer connections, you’ll want to find a reliable external setup that doesn’t cause headaches on the maintenance side. Ready2Go’s TANK BOX is an all-in-one water/wastewater tank system that’s easy to ship out, set up and pump out, all year long.
“We saw operators dealing with makeshift pumps that were unreliable or hard to maintain,” says Seth Rosen, managing partner at Ready2Go Trailer Sales. “The TANK BOX was designed to give them a professional, plug-and-play solution … anywhere you need reliable waste and water management without permanent infrastructure.”
TANK BOX launched early last year following field-testing with operators and modular builders. It’s built with modular offices in mind, enabling full service outside, but has also been used with shower trailers, combo units, mobile laundry trailers and restroom skids in construction and disaster-response jobs.
“Keeping the system outside eliminates noise and odor inside the office,” he says. “It also gives PROs easy access for service, faster pumpouts, less interruption and cleaner operations overall,” Rosen says.
All necessary components are conveniently located within the box, including a 270-gallon water tank and 300-gallon waste tank that can support one or two modular offices, averaging 450-600 flushes, conveyed via built-in integrated sewage pump, which provides consistently steady water pressure. The interior is illuminated with LED lighting, and is powered via a single 12-volt, 16-amp outlet. An onboard healing system and insulated walls provide an all-season temperature rating of minus 30 to 155 degrees F.
“Cold weather shouldn’t stop your operation, which is a common issue with traditional waste and water setups,” Rosen says.
With a compact footprint of only 5-by-5-by-8.5-feet, integrated forklift pockets and an optional wheel kit, transportation is hassle-free no matter how you’re getting it to the job site. True to its name, the unit is built like a tank, boasting a weatherproof, rust-resistant and maintenance-minimal design with modular components. Optional add-ons include a pneumatic wheel and jack system for simpler placement on site, and full integration with ViaTRAX web app, which provides GPS tracking, geofencing, system alerts, and lets you know when the tank is empty in real time.
“That means fewer unnecessary trips, better efficiency and cleaner data management,” Rosen says. “Operators love how easy it is to use and how much time it saves.” 833-428-3246; www.ready2gotankbox.com
