Portable restroom operators can lose hundreds of hours annually using traditional methods of inventory management and performing manual service when not necessarily needed. Through the use of GPS location technology, Aware sensors from Doppl determine an asset’s location and current service-need status, providing real-time data and sending notifications when equipment is on the move, complete with geo-fencing and geo-alerts.

“We understand that the number of assets you have in the field at any given time may fluctuate depending on seasonality,” says Pranay Ramash, president and CEO of Doppl. “Aware sensors let you respond to events in real time by proactively monitoring the condition of your equipment in the field and receiving alerts for any status changes.”

Unlike hard-wired mechanical and sonar solutions, Aware uses 256 infrared lasers to ensure accuracy and reliability when it comes to tank level monitoring. These lasers use 3D contour mapping methods to scan and create an averaged-out topographical map of the inside of the holding tank, providing an accurate reading of a tank’s fill-level. With automatic calibration, Aware can be quickly installed and seamlessly implemented for fast results.

The sensors are encased in a fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin enclosure and are hermetically sealed to be waterproof, fireproof and resistant to harsh chemicals to ensure protection from extreme conditions. Designed with the IP69K and MIL STD standards in mind, the sensors are dust-, water- and fireproof, and remain operable in temperatures down to -40 degrees F. In addition, they come equipped with a primary lithium battery tested to last up to 20 years.

“Aware sensors are designed to withstand being driven over by 20-ton trucks, and be blasted by high-powered steam pressure washers, and remain resistant to harsh acids and bases,” says Ramash. “Wherever your assets are, you can count on reliable and versatile connectivity options to ensure you have ubiquitous access to real-time data at the push of a button.”

Ramash says Aware sensors can lower the cost of doing business for PROs. “With remote monitoring and access to real-time sensor data, you can gain unprecedented visibility into your operations, allowing you to more efficiently allocate resources where they’re needed the most,” he says. 306-979-3544;
