Effective odor control in your portable restrooms is key to maintaining customer satisfaction and winning repeat jobs. It can also be a time-consuming part of the maintenance process, depending on the product used and number of restrooms on the job site. But with Bionetix International’s latest tablet-based deodorizer, application is hassle-free, especially in cold climates.
Launched last December, the BIO-BOOM TAB is Bionetix’s third installment of deodorizer/treatment products designed for portable toilets, holding tanks and mobile restroom systems. Predosed, fast-dissolving, and requiring no handling or measuring, tablets are simple to apply, saving operators time. And the tablets dissolve quickly in ice water, making them the ideal tool for large-scale jobs during winter.
“The tablet version is ideal for portable restroom operators who work in cold winter climates. The tablet dissolves quickly in cold water, so they don’t have to wait around for five minutes at every stop until a pouch product dissolves,” says David Llano, Bionetix inside sales and product support.
BIO-BOOM TABs are biocide-free and do not contain harsh chemicals, such as formaldehyde. Just like its predecessors, the BIO-BOOM L and P models, the formula is made up of 1 billion CFU/g of helpful probiotics that remain active eliminating odor for up to two months, depending on tank conditions.
BIO-BOOM’s probiotics digest grease, undissolved soap residue, as well as toilet paper. It also doesn’t make a mess, Llano says. Where liquid or powder cleaners can become a time-consuming and costly problem in the event of a speed bump on the road or an application mishap on the job, PROs using the BIO-BOOM TAB can have peace of mind against spills.
“Its solid form enhances storage safety and reduces spillage risk during transport or use,” Llano says.
BIO-BOOM TAB is available in cherry and passion fruit fragrances. Llano says seasonal fragrances will also be available in the future. Since the product launch last December, Llano says BIO-BOOM TAB has been a tried-and-true asset to PROs on an international scale.
“BIO-BOOM TAB has undergone successful field testing with [PROs] and final users across North, Central and South America, including a range of temperatures and warm climates in Chile, the U.S., Panama, Peru and Colombia,” Llano says. “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting ease of use, dosing precision, adaptability to various climates, especially cold, and its effective odor and waste treatment performance.”
