Nuconcepts majestic 2 restroom trailer 2

While the NuConcepts Majestic two-restroom luxury restroom trailer is primarily marketed toward wedding and film-industry customers, the company gets business from another place: the emergency and disaster response industry.

“Very often we have sold these Majestic units to sheriff’s departments, fire departments and the FBI as well, so there is that demand for disaster and different circumstances as well,” says Eduardo Sequeira, NuConcepts facilities manager.

But perhaps this isn’t surprising, considering the Majestic is equipped with a 30-watt solar panel and a portable power generator rack with low-power consumption in a unit that’s durable and easy to maintain.

“It can be used for cases of emergency because it does have solar panels and is able to travel to remote locations,” Sequeira says. Sandra Mendez, admin sales coordinator, adds that “You can actually install your own generator at the front of your trailer. So even if you’re remote, if you want to use your AC, you could carry your own generator and actually power it like that too.”

The battery placement and air-conditioning system are both newer upgrades not initially present when the product launched in early 2017, Mendez says, but the AC, water heater, LED lighting, motion-sensing power and individual stalls all contribute to a comfortable experience at special events for end users.

So does the interior design, featuring arched doorways, curved single-cast bevel countertops and sinks, recessed ceiling lighting, restroom-friendly linoleum planked composite floors. The color scheme is customizable, but the default is a sophisticated blend of white walls with pelham maple brown and gray accents.

According to Mendez, the Majestic is designed to be as durable and main- tenance-friendly as possible for busy PROs. The two-unit accommodates 280 flushes before maintenance is required, wood-free flooring and an aluminum roof are easy to clean. Each restroom uses a single shared supply and waste tank located below the fiberglass unit, meaning only one port needs to be drained during service. City water connections are also available.

“I would say this cuts the [maintenance] time in half because you don’t have to be filling out multiple water tanks,” Mendez says.

A four-unit Majestic restroom is also available. Upgrade options for both include stainless steel dispensers, aluminum wheels and more.

“If customers do request something custom, we’re more than happy to accommodate that as much as we can,” Sequeira says. “Our engineering team will see if that’s possible [and] we can definitely try to make that work.”
