ProcessWerx wins 2024 Cleantech Innovation Award in Water
The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster celebrated North Carolina’s transformative clean tech achievements at the 2024 Cleantech Innovation Awards ceremony, held in November at the SAS Institute in Cary, North Carolina. Among this year’s winners was ProcessWerx, awarded the Cleantech Impact: Water Award for its innovative FOG recovery and wastewater treatment project, designed for and provided to WM for its FOG2Fuel program. Designed, built and commissioned by ProcessWerx for WM, the FOG2Fuel system can handle up to 60,000 gallons of FOG wastewater per day. This solution generates EPA-approved advanced biofuel and delivers treated wastewater suitable for safe sewer disposal.
